Sheet Masks. Yes, I know. I’m late to the party. Funny thing is I decided I would *finally* try them out on a whim and bought a few. When I went to find a spot where I could tuck them out of the way in my bathroom, wouldn’t you know I found four already there? I totally forgot I’d bought a couple and my mom had given me a couple for CHRISTMAS. Which I didn’t use until August. Ha!
Almond Castile Soap. I’ve always kept castile soap for random cleaning (and bathing the dog), but when I ran out of bubble bath awhile ago I used my castile soap instead and I love it! It’s more like a foaming bath, but I’m down for that. I just started using the almond scented one and it’s like soaking in marzipan. LOVE.
A new-to-me salad kit. Yep, I’m putting salad on the list. Also, I feel like I will always have at least one Trader Joe’s item on here. I added red onion and jalapeno to this salad and it was AMAZING. Extra cilantro would be fantastic too…
And on that note, trying all the pumpkin stuff at Trader Joe’s this year has been extra fun. I’m doing a couple pumpkin hauls for YouTube so it’s been an excuse to go even more pumpkin-overboard than I would otherwise. So far, this biscotti is my favorite.
Kindle. I’m sure I shared Kindle over the summer when I got it. But lately I’m loving it even more. It has finally become more of an ingrained habit to read at least a few pages almost every night before I go to bed. And I really love that I can read on my Kindle easily without much need to prop up a book AND light it. I fall asleep with it open a lot, so I have to recharge it more often than if I was alert enough to stay awake. But man, falling asleep while reading is a really restful kind of sleep.
Murder on the Orient Express. Best (re-)read lately. I have been a life-long Agatha Christie fan (like, starting at an age that I’m pretty sure was unusually young to be in love with murder mysteries.) And I am STOKED for the movie to come out in November. As soon as I saw the first preview for it, I requested the e-book from my library because I figured the holds would get long the closer we get to the movie release. I read this maaaaaany years ago, but luckily forgot SO much that it really almost felt like reading it for the first time. Typically I preferred Miss Marple novels to Poirot when I was younger, but I really enjoy the analytical style of Poirot now.
Oprah + Deepak Chopra 7 Day Anxiety Relief. This is a bit much to actually accomplish in 7 days. Especially if you have ANXIETY and adding more to your plate is overwhelming 😉 But I have very slowly been going through this program and I am incredibly impressed.
Cool enough evenings for runs after work!
Speaking of… I’ve been working out a bit later in the evenings than usual this week. And it’s been working nicely for my schedule. Which of course I’m loving lately, but not as much as the fact that it means I’m going to sleep with wet hair and waking up with way curlier hair. 💁
And an awesome new hair cream that I think is helping, too. (So is getting my hair trimmed for the first time in over a year….!)
Boyfriend’s THIRTIETH birthday! Boyfriend turns 30 today. We celebrated all weekend long, got a little more in store tonight, and of course our big vacay feels like we’re just continuing the celebrations. 🎂
