I usually call all of my veggie juices “green juice,” no matter what their color is. But just look at this! It had to be re-named.
And there’s nothing to it!
serves 2
4 beets (you could use golden for this too, and it will come out an amazing orange hue)
3 carrots
1 apple
2 stalks celery
1-inch piece of ginger
Don’t let that picture scare you – I washed the beets before I juiced them. (I just liked the pre-washed pictures best.) But it’s a pain in the butt to clean the very top where the greens were, so I just slice that part off. And I slice the crazy long root ends off so I can get them in my juicer.
Throw everything into a juicer! That’s it.
If you don’t have a juicer, you can blend everything together in a blender. But make sure to peel beets and ginger if you do that. And unless you have a high-powered blender, you’ll probably need to cut the beets and carrots into small pieces.
Prettiest juice ever! But it will stain! So don’t spill on yourself, and rinse everything it touches immediately!
