I’ve been having fun juicing tangerines lately. Buy a big bag for a few bucks, and throw them into any juice or on the side of any meal. A happy food 🙂
The other day I was grabbing things out of my fridge at random to juice, and realized that everything I pulled out of the fridge except for kale was ORANGE. Goodbye, kale. Back into the fridge you go. So I made a juice entirely from orange ingredients. The little kid in me found this extremely amusing. The end result is day-glo orange juice. It is so vibrant but all natural. Love that.
serves 1
3 tangerines
1 golden beet
1 inch piece turmeric root
1 carrot
2 persimmons
Throw everything into your juicer. Awesome. It’s like Orange Juice 2.0.
Another thrilling thing happened the other day! I no longer have an inhuman looking Frankenstein Finger – no more scab, now my little finger looks pretty darn good. Now that it looks okay, I think it will be easier to treat it like it’s healed and make myself start using it again!
