Need a sparkly drink for New Year’s Eve?! You could sip this as the ball drops, or the next morning during brunch.
I made this for Christmas morning, and I’m so happy with it. It’s a cross between a tequila sunrise and a mimosa. Sold. Simple, gorgeous, and tasty!
serves 1
4 oz prosecco (or sparkling wine of your choice)
4 oz orange juice
1 T grenadine
In a champagne flute, pour the champagne first, then the orange juice, and then slowly pour the grenadine in down one side. The grenadine will sink to the bottom of your glass.
Just make sure your glass is as full as you want it before adding the grenadine, because topping off your glass later will mix it into your drink. Which is still pretty, but I’ll bet you want to show off some of that awesome sunrise layering.
