Cold-Brew Kahlua Cafe Au Lait

Cold-Brew Kahlua Cafe Au Lait

Guys, it is HOT outside. I picked a horrible time to move, and have been sweating my butt off getting myself all packed and organized and moved out/in.

When it finally was almost done and I had one more quick handful to bring up to Preston’s from my car, Preston offered coffee. Yes, sounds perfect. As I headed out to get the last load, he told me the coffee was getting cold. Good! It’s 95 degrees out and I’ve been moving all day, I want some ice cold coffee. (For the record, he helped a lot but is studying for the bar so he gets a free pass more than usual lately.) I brought up my last box (my box of booze), poured that cold coffee into a frosty mug he keeps in the fridge, added soy milk and a big splash of kahlua from that box I’d just brought up. It was SO good. Perfectly refreshing!

So later that night when we ran to the grocery store and I saw this Chameleon Cold Brew Mocha Coffee with the most adorable label, I couldn’t resist. Ice cold coffee was on my mind. Sunday afternoon I made myself another cafe au lait. Just the cold brew coffee, kahlua, and almond milk.
