Official summer drink acquired!
I haven’t had a shandy in a loooong time, and I’m pretty sure the last time I had one I didn’t like beer. Kind of a problem. Until last weekend. I had an awesome shandy at a local bar called Low Brau (I’ve mentioned it before because they serve fantastic vegan sausages there.) Just beer, lemonade, and they added elderflower liqueur.
Sold.
I wanted to keep the sugar content on mine down, so I used fresh squeezed lemon instead of lemonade, but either way would taste fantastic. My summer elderflower shandy is SO refreshing and light and perfect for a summer drink.
- 1 chilled bottle beer of your choice (I used Blue Moon’s Summer Honey Wheat)
