Hello, summer cocktail!
This beauty was an on-a-whim concoction I made when I had friends over and needed a good drink. I threw guava juice and vodka in a glass expecting it to be awesome, because what isn’t awesome with guava juice? It was awful. Unbearable. To be fair, my vodka-to-guava ratio was far too high.
So I tweaked it with a couple other additions, and voila! A fruity, light, sweet (but not too sweet) delight!
Don’t worry, I actually measured this one and it’s even better than the original. I’m a huge fan. I’ve had this little drink probably more times than I should admit in the last couple weeks…. 😉
guava st. germain spritzer:
serves 1
2 oz guava juice
1 oz vodka
1 oz St. Germain (or any other elderflower liqueur)
4 oz sparkling water (I have used mango and apricot flavored waters which adds an even better flavor!)
Simply pour everything in a glass over ice and stir. You’re all set! 🙂
