Fix My Pics | Vegan Char Siu Bao Dim Sum

INTERWEBS-PERUSERS!

I made some food for you.

Okay, I actually made it for Preston for Valentine’s Day. But I took these pictures for you!!!

It’s been far too long since I’ve done some Fix My Pics posts, and I’ve got a whoooole lot that I want to start working on! My vegan char siu bao dim sum are one of my personal favorites. These are DANG good, but the pictures on my original post didn’t really do them justice. They were alright pictures, I have far worse ones up on this blog-a-log that need fixing, but I thought it only right to start with a recipe that really didn’t get its fair share of the limelight.

Char siu bao are INCREDIBLE Chinese barbecue dumplings – traditionally filled with pork, but you can fill them with mushrooms and/or faux ground meat (or really anything you want…) for incredible dim sum at home.

Yes, they take some serious time and attention to prepare. I usually am not a huge fan of recipes that require more than 30 minutes of hands-on effort, but these are SO. WORTH. IT.

Without further adieu, HERE’S THE LINK TO THE ORIGINAL RECIPE with updated much more appealing photos.

Happy dim summing!
