Talk about the perfect nighttime drink to put you to sleep.
There’s a local coffee shop that makes a drink called a Bowl of Soul. It is a soy milk based chamomile latte with plenty of honey in it. I’ve actually never ordered it at that coffee shop, but have heard about its deliciousness from so many other people I had to make one!
Just a simple drink you can heat up quickly on the stove or in the microwave and sip away as you read, watch TV, or whatever your favorite winding-down activity is. This moonlight chamomile honey latte will make you warm and happy and lull you to sleep.
I sweetened mine with honey as I’m a honey-eating vegan, and that’s what the original recipe calls for. But you can sweeten with coconut nectar, coconut sugar, regular sugar, or simply use a sweetened soy milk. I also tried this with Silk’s new sweetened original cashew milk, and it was great and creamy that way. Definitely need a lot less sweetener with a sweet non-dairy milk.
