Who’s got some kind of weight loss or health resolution this year?! I’ve certainly got it as one of my goals for January!
This metabolism boosting juice is a MAGICAL way to kickstart a day when you are trying to rev up that metabolism and lose some weight. It’s packed with metabolism boosting pineapple, grapefruit, and ginger. The pineapple is so stinking sweet it makes a grapefruit and ginger concoction so much better than you’d expect.
A small glass of this in the morning will help get your energy up, your metabolism moving, and get you one little step closer to making your resolution a reality!
- 1/2 pineapple
- 1 red grapefruit
- 2 lemons
- 1 inch piece of ginger
- 2 small apple (1 large one)
- Put everything in your juicer, and you’re all set! If you don’t have a juicer, you can blend everything and strain the pulp out.
Make a big batch on the weekend, and give it a try! I love it as is, or you can dilute it in some water (it has a pretty strong flavor), and even heat it up if you want! It is a tiny bit tart because of all the citrus. I think the pineapple and apple cut through it just fine, but if you want some added sweetness, just add a touch of honey.
