Who else caught that Hulu accidentally released the new episode of the Bachelorette early yesterday?!?!
Made for an AWESOME morning.
I am actually trying very hard to stop my awful habit of watching TV while I get ready for work. I’m mostly successful, but I keep opening Hulu and starting to pick out a show before I realize what I’m doing and make myself stop. The Bachelorette is my exception because spoilers are SO HARD to avoid! So Tuesday mornings when the Bachelor and Bachelorette are on, I make SURE I watch TV while I’m getting ready ๐
Anyhow, yesterday morning as I started sippin’ on this creamy peach mango smoothie, I accidentally clicked Hulu and got suuuuuuuper confused with it telling me there was a new Bachelorette episode for me to watch. But there it was! I felt privileged and guilty of some illicit crime. And happily watched the first half an hour while I ate and got ready ๐ Of course, by the time I got off work it was gone. Booo.
Anyhow. How about a creamy peach mango smoothie?! This one is a bit out of the box for me (another something I’m trying very hard to do…) I gravitate toward BIG flavors. A smoothie has to be the boldest berries with a seriously strong taste (like the smoothie I posted on Instagram this morning with about all the berry flavors in my house ๐ )
But this guy is mellow. Light fruity flavors with a VERY creamy backbone. Thank you, cashew butter, for that richness.
Note: macadamia butter would do the same thing, but that liquid gold is hard to find. I’m about to snag a Costco-sized container of macadamia nuts to make my own.
- 1/2 C frozen peach slices
- 1/2 C frozen mango cubes
- 1 C vanilla unsweetened almond milk
- 1/2 t vanilla extract
- 1 T cashew butter
- juice of 1/2 lime (** if it’s not very juicy, use the entire lime)
- Blend everything together and enjoy!
