Glazed Doughnut Cordial

Yes, you read that right. A cocktail that tastes like a glazed doughnut. A two-ingredient tiny adorable cocktail to sip on ๐Ÿ™‚

After discovering the beauty that is my guava st. germain cocktail, I quickly found myself out of St. Germain and ventured to Total Wine to pick up some more ๐Ÿ™‚ An employee there saw me browsing through all the sweet liqueurs and pointed one out to me that he claims is life-changing, and that I should try it. Pour it in margaritas, sip it over ice, or float some cream on top for a simple little dessert cocktail.

After the rave review, I had to give it a try and bought this adorable mini bottle. Last Friday after work, I poured the teeny bottle into two teeny glasses and floated a tablespoon of French vanilla soy creamer on top.

It tastes like pastries. Glazed sweet doughy amazing pastries. We sat on the balcony and started the weekend off sipping on these teeny delicious doughnut-like cocktails. Alright, I sipped. Preston proudly restrained himself from typical gulps and spent a whole two minutes on this little drink ๐Ÿ™‚ Either way, it really hit the spot.

This is the perfect drink for you if you’re capable of slowly sipping at a drink, because creamer + super sweet liqueur is not exactly something you should make in a much bigger serving size….

But man, does it taste fantastic!

glazed doughnut cordial:

serves 2
1 mini bottle Licor 43 (or maybe it’s supposed to called Cuarenta y Tres…?)
2 T French vanilla soy creamer

Split your bottle of booze between two bitty glasses. Using a spoon, pour the soy creamer onto the spoon and let it gently pour down the side of the glass. The cream will float to the top! So pretty!
